By today Netflix is the #1 product that allows fills the internet's test tubes. It recently passed peer-to-peer file sharing and runs in 1st place, thus increasing the conent paid through the internet. This exciting new made a world record for the largest internet net traffic content paid for. According to stats, Netflix accounts for 22.2% of all U.S broadbands traffic, being compared to BitTorrent's 21.6% share. Also importantly noted, recorded for the highest internet traffic reaching a astounding 30%!
Opinion:
In my it is unbelievable to what internet has evolved to. So much technology has evolved in films, now instead of waiting in line to go to BlockBuster and find that movie that you have been waiting forever for, you are able to stream it through your TV, smartphone, or computer with in seconds. There is no time to waste on gas to drive your call to rent a movie, it is as simple as sitting on your couch and with a remote control streaming it right before your eyes. This product has been so popular that more than a quarter of Americans are using the internet to stream it. Never the less this is this is a huge accomplishment for creating a world record.
